Charlie Bourne wakes up from a coma after three years. While his body was lying safely atop a hospital bed, his mind and soul travelled to a place known to him only by 'the other dimension.' There, united with his dead father, he learns about himself, his destiny, and the evil which is constantly trying to plunge the world into chaos: The Darkness.Out of the coma, Charlie thinks he is equipped with the skill set needed to diminish the evil forces, only to learn that the Silvekhs - followers of the darkness - have already made their move.
