Historia et cartularium Monasterii Sancti Petri Gloucestriae

The abbey of St Peter, Gloucester, was a wealthy establishment with royal connections. The medieval chronicle and charters, published in three volumes between 1863 and 1867, contain valuable information on the economic and ecclesiastical history of the West Country.
