Holy Standard

Don't let His true love pass you by because you feared Him incorrectly.
Would you be more likely to love and respect an unfeeling and distant dictator or a beloved father figure? Would you do hard things for a leader that doesn't know your name or a leader that knows your deepest secrets? Would you pledge your allegiance to a king who plays his subjects like pawns or a King who pledges His own allegiance to His subjects? Which one do you think God is?
Then, why do we have such trouble obeying Him?
