Homar's Journey

This charming educational tale follows the adventures of Homarus Americanus, a Maine lobster, as he learns important lessons from his mother about how to shed his shell, find tasty food, and watch out for Cod and Sculpin, who love to turn little lobsters into a snack. But most important is avoiding The Trap, a mysterious but alluring contraption that was the end of Homar's father.
All summer long Homar grows and plays in Blue Hill Harbor under his mother's watchful care. But as winter approaches and it's time to depart for deeper waters in Frenchboro, Homar is reluctant to leave. Will he listen to his mother? Will he be able to avoid The Trap?
