Über Hope!
Our heroine's mother suddenly quotes Alexander Pope and tells our heroine, "Hope springs eternal in the human breast." And this leaves our heroine dumbfounded once again, and not knowing what her mother means. In fact, she thinks maybe her mother is having a bad day! So, she proceeds to talk to everyone she can think of (beginning with the elephant) to see if they can help her figure out what her mother meant!
Think about what it means to keep hope in our hearts, and why this is important, as you practice your reading skills and build your reading word vocabulary through word recognition, word repetition and rhyme, all of which you will find on the pages this fun-filled 'learn to read' book written and illustrated by the award winning author, attorney and former K-6 teacher, Penelope Dyan.
But most of all, have fun as you learn; because learning must be (and should always be) fun! Then, when you are all finished traveling through this book, you can go to Bellissimavideo's YouTube channel and watch the free, fun music video that goes with this book!
