Human Trafficking

This work analyses the tragic reality of human trafficking in order to provide an investigation into the construction of alternatives to combat this crime. It analyses the modalities of human trafficking and how this type of illicit business develops, especially in countries where socio-economic inequality promotes the development of illicit businesses such as drugs, arms and, of course, human trafficking. It looks at the international system for combating human trafficking, with a study of the measures taken at both national and international level to tackle this major global problem. It investigates the ineffectiveness of international legislation and the need for new measures to tackle this challenge and find more effective solutions. It briefly analyses the difficulties and limitations encountered in protection at international level and comments on them. It concludes with proposals for combating poverty and social inequalities as a way of protecting the groups most vulnerable to human trafficking.
