Your pet is always part of your family
This was my only way to deal with such a calamity
I know everyone understands this is a very special love
So to keep memories forever seems like the prayer to up above
So I hope these rhymes remind you of this
The lives they live we can never dismiss
The loyalty and endless love can never be forgotten
As much as losing them feels nothing short of rotten
Please take my advice and adopt a dog today
I promise the love they give will never leave you astray
