In Idiot, saint Prince Myshkin returns to Russia from a Swiss sanatorio and finds himself a stranger in a society obsessed with wealth, power, and sexual conquest. Soon he gets caught up in a love triangle with a well-known woman, Nastasya, and a pretty Aglaya girl.
