Intimacy With God

As a young girl growing up in a religious home, my life was deeply molded by what my parents taught me. They belonged to the Pentecostal church, and they made sure that I was ingrained in the Bible from a very young age.
My understanding of religion at an early age was that there was one right way, and that way was Pentecostalism. I did not know that I could have a personal relationship with God. I did not know that Jesus died for my sins that I might have the assurance of salvation; the gift of eternal life. In coming to Christ, I now had a Heavenly Father.
