Über Irrevocable Trust
Another great novel from B.H.Heit........... It was 1958, just before the island nation of Cuba was overrun by the rebel forces of Fidel Castro and Ché Guevara, when long-time plantation owner, Francisco Cervantes, transfers millions of dollars out of the country. Today, his grandson, Rick Cervantes, and Rick's three uncles are the happy recipients of the previously unknown family Trust whose value, now, is worth more than a billion dollars. However, deep within the legal terminology of the Irrevocable Trust, there is a small clause, a paragraph, which provides instructions on what to do with the money in the event there were no more direct Cervantes descendants. The money was to go back to the people of Cuba. As for Colonel Barrios and the Cuban government, that was their money. Money which was considered stolen from them years ago. It was also the very last account the Colonel had that was still legally unresolved after so many years. But, that was all about to change. The Colonel was going to see to that no matter what the cost. Ironically, the descendants are beginning to die off one by one, which now has Rick and the his last surviving uncle on the run.
