This is the true story of a little girl searching for her mother who suddenly disappears from the family. The fatal accident left Rachel, at six and a half years old, her three older brothers, aged between seven and eleven, and two younger sisters, aged five and two years and ten months, with a lot of responsibility for running the house but one day Rachel and her sister Peggy are taken into care. A devastated Rachel constantly aches to be reunited with her family and sets out to make it happen but abuse, plans of escape and reaching out to others for help present challenges she must overcome. Rachel is a girl full of secrets. Her optimistic spirit, throughout her ordeals no matter how harsh or despairing, leads her to find out if Anybody at all is Out There.
