Über Izz of Zia
The larger-than-life saga continues in the breathtaking forth part conclusion of Tom Icon's Izz of Zia epic where fantasy and reality collide. In a world where profound mysteries are so deep their existence are denied by most. Blades throughout rang out loudly and erupted in bursts of sparks, Edawn was doomed. Depleted, severed, isolated from the outside world, with little or no hope for salvation. The profoundly outnumbered remnant of Edawn's last stand could not much longer hold back the powerful, well seasoned forces of the Norticlan horde. Driven by darkness, Baddlock's the Wicked Warlock Wizard unyielding barbarian forces were given power to wage an unholy war on the disciples of righteousness. Young and old were indiscriminately slaughtered with hard coldness and dry indifference.
The source of the Wicked Warlock Wizard's blasphemous dominion was channeled to him from the unhallowed circle of Dark Priests that delved in the forbidden mysteries of the accursed. The Prince of Darkness, Abaddawn once a super divine being of glorious exalted beauty, dazzling brightness, supreme knowledge, wisdom and power was at the root of all the woes of Zia. So impressed was he with his own beauty, intelligence, power, and position that he began to lust for himself the praise and glory that belonged to his Creator alone. In his arrogates, the angel that was once perfect in every way was led by pride to his rebellion and fall from grace. Abaddawn led a cosmic revolt against his Creator to see who would rule the cosmos. Rightfully judged, he was absolutely and completely cast out into utter darkness to rule over the damned in the bowels of the deep. In the deepest darkest, recesses of the abyss echoed a legend of the ever approaching Celestial Conjunction. The hordes of the fallen of all ranks and orders gathered at their perspective escape portal with great anticipation. Legend held that if the pure blood of a royal, vestal maiden was spilt at the zenith of the conjunction all the fallen that were held captive in darkness would be set free. Abaddawn's strategy was to enlist mankind to join him. All those who chose to be 'god' to themselves joined his ranks, led by Baddlock, King Ozzdon's once most trusted servant.
The king's last stand was the threshold that would usher in the end and the beginning of one of two worlds. The entire civilized world hinges on the brick of oblivion. If Baddlock, the Wicked Warlock Wizard gained a foot hold in Edawn, then he would have control of the most strategic military strong hold on the planet of Zia. Most of Edawn's finest, the heart of the kingdom, were either dead or wounded. All seemed lost. Every delusion of faith had long been trodden under. Outnumbered, yet the Edawnians fought on, not because they had any hope of surviving, but because their honor demanded it. The Edawnians were raised above the fear of death, because they chose to die on our feet rather than on their knees. They fought on not because they expected to prevail, they fought on for the sole hope of holding their children to their breasts and kissing their wives one last time.
