Talon quickly raised a hemispherical defensive shield around him, Darkmane and Lena, just in time to deflect attacks from the other four snakes.

Talon strengthened the defensive shield close to Darkmane a second before Sly struck with his twin daggers, sending shockwaves across the defensive shield. But even stretched thin, the hawk?s defenses were absolute; the shield held.
