Ladders

As our heroine was heading outside to play, our heroine's mother said, "You can go up a ladder; and after you go up, you can go down! OR you can stay where you are, right there on the ground!" And our heroine (confused by what her mother said) headed right out the door to tell everyone she could think of what her mother said to see what they thought about what her mother said. And (as usual) she began with her friend, the elephant!
