It should have been a blissful few days set deep in a Cheshire forest. A luxurious log cabin retreat just twenty minutes'' drive from home. No aeroplane to catch, no bank holiday chaos, no stress and some much needed family time together. The sun shone, the temperature soared and the champagne flowed. All the ingredients were there for a perfect family escape.
