Last Rambles amongst the Indians of the Rocky Mountains and the Andes

First published in 1868, this is the second of two children's books recounting the experiences of the painter George Catlin (1796-1872) among the native populations of North and South America. Written in an anecdotal style, the book explores indigenous history and folklore as well as outlining Catlin's ethnographical theories.
