Learning Strategies in Engineering Mathematics

Birgit Griese presents MP2-Math/Plus, a support project for first-year students in engineering at Ruhr-Universitat Bochum that aims at preventing unnecessary drop-out. The results confirm the adaptations of the project procedures in successive cycles, stress the importance of effort and motivation, and assess the success of the project.
