Letters and Papers Illustrative of the Reigns of Richard III and Henry VII

This two-volume collection, compiled by archivist James Gairdner (1828-1912) and published 1861-3 in the Rolls Series, contains documents from the period 1483-1509. It includes correspondence with dignitaries all over Europe, in many different languages, on topics ranging from peace talks and commercial treaties to dynastic alliances, knighthoods and indulgences.
