Grace Reilly is a nineteen-year-old girl just starting her independent life as she moves into her first apartment alone in Nashville. As a child she was an avid performer, putting on musical shows displaying her talent whenever she could; but that all changed when her parents tragically died in a car accident. She hasn't been the same since, and as much as she tries to get on with and restart her life, until she relocates her passion for music and her love for life itself, then she won't ever be able to make the most of her abilities. Luckily for her, a stroke of good luck sits just around the corner, just next door in fact; Carter Montgomery - an already reasonably successful musician on the up and up in the business, who also happens to be quite the charmer. Perhaps her life really is taking a turn for the better.
