Kendra Niles is a simple woman just trying to live a quiet life. She recently took over her uncle's mechanic shop, which was basically belly up, and she's determined to make it a success. But, now, Richard Billingsworth is trying to get her to sell the shop and the land to him. When Kendra rejects his offer, Richard locks his sights on her and he isn't going to stop until he has her land. There's just one problem, Roark has his sights on her, too, and there's nothing he won't do to protect her.

Will the tycoon have the last laugh and end up with the deeds to Roark and Kendra's land? Or will Roark do what he does best and stop at nothing to protect those who he claims as his?
