Über Low Vision
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), low vision is a clinical problem that affects more people than blindness. There are approximately 285 million visually impaired people in the world; of these, 246 million have low vision. The number of disabled people is increasing every day worldwide, making low vision both a problem and a challenge. Despite technological advances in the field of Ophthalmology, visual rehabilitation is still a very important procedure in patients with low vision, but always taking into account the needs of each individual, to describe the behavior of adults with low vision in a health area, a descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted.
