Lucy and the Shooting Star

When 3-year-old Lucy looks up at the stars in the sky, she thinks of her late grandfather. One night, a shooting star falls into the birdbath in Lucy's garden and brings with it a special message from her grandpa: He loves her and is still watching over her. In June 2021, Becky lost her father to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). One of his last wishes was that she tell her (then) infant daughter, Lucy, how much he loved her when she became old enough to understand. It is our hope that this story will help to fulfill that final wish.

¿ Lucy and the Shooting Star won second place in a children's book writing contest run by The Elite Lizzard Publishing Company. It is a timeless and heartfelt story of love, family, and life after loss.
