D., He then worked as a clinical psychologist at a group practice in Sheboygan, WI. Ken culminated his work years by retiring in Sun City Center, FL. In retirement, he continues to teach, volunteer, and be socially active. Dr. Barringer has published chapters in two books on adult education and was a contributor to a major family-focused magazine. He has published articles on various issues related to senior living. He has successfully headed a coalition on mental health and aging in his retirement community. His intention in writing this book is to help seniors everywhere find concrete ideas about responsible life choices for healthy senior living. His concern is that seniors are not well equipped to cope with the important task of aging, so he speaks to community groups and teaches at a senior college.
