Man of the Prairie

My grandfather entered the world by a difficult birth in a dugout on the Nebraska prairie. His mistakes as a young man and the loss of a wife molded him into a caring person. He experienced wealth that provided whatever was wanted and available. This he obtained by his abilities and selling automobiles when the timing was right. Then, during the long depression, he faced poverty; not having a dime in his pocket. A man true to his word and strong in his own belief, Evan Furman was a survivalist throughout his life on the prairie.
Local history and actual events are woven into this story. The names of businesses, the Furman family, and a few other people are factual. Other names needed to complete the story are fictitious.
