Mary's Purse

Mary''s Purse is set in the era of the 1920''s and takes the reader to a time when daily deliveries were part of the home life. The young reader travels through the week with Mary to meet a new visitor each day. Mary goes to her worn purse to pay each person she has given an order. Gail has presented a unique way for the young reader to be involved in the story and gain a valuable math experience.
