Mathematical Methods in Physics

The basic theory of linear (bounded and unbounded) operators in Hilbert spaces and special classes of linear operators - compact, Hilbert-Schmidt, trace class, and Schroedinger operators, as needed in quantum physics and quantum information theory - are explored.
