Menasseh ben Israel's Mission to Oliver Cromwell

This work, published by the Jewish Historical Society of England in 1901, comprises a series of tracts written by the rabbi Menasseh ben Israel (1604-57), campaigning for the readmission of the Jews into England. Largely aimed at Cromwell, the pamphlets offer insight into the mid-seventeenth-century drive for religious liberty.
