Mission of Inquiry to Israel in 1839

This book describes the experiences of a deputation appointed by the Church of Scotland in 1838 to inquire into the possible locations for Christian mission work among the Jewish people in Israel and Europe. It led to the establishment of various centres for for such mission work in the 1840s.
