Yes, she was born into a prostitution ring and abandoned because her mother had reasons that allowed that to happen. She has never seen her before and may never see her. But, she is still searching for Anastasia, her biological mother. Maybe one day.

The awareness of parents, neighbors, social services, government agencies, and national governments regarding the factors that may increase the risk of a young person becoming a prostitute might be heightened.

Some of the factors include a negative family environment punctuated with physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. Another reason is shame.
