This formation of thought by religion has justified slavery, racism, and Jim Crow in American culture.
World domination by the British took place in the form of colonization of nonwhite people based on the so-called Great Chain of Being that was a hierarchical structure of all life that was decreed by God (but whose God?), with white people at the top and everyone else, especially persons of color, at the bottom. Accordingly, class and race affect every social and/or economic institution to this very day.
