Need for Conflict Management in North Kivu

The all-out emergence of islands of instability in NORTH KIVU is not a coincidence. It is closely linked to the non-State context and the desire for strategic resources that this province contains. The activism of warlords would be linked to the geopolitical and geoeconomic gains represented by the control of certain localities in this province, their access to mining areas, their control over strategic resources and the chain of their mafia evacuation on the international market.This evidence pushed us to investigate the geostrategic position occupied by this province at the heart of leadership wars and to propose conflict management materialized by the managerial pentagon of armed conflict resolution. Five focal areas are targeted, namely political, economic, diplomatic, security and administrative.This arsenal of strategies constitutes a bouquet of oxygen to restore State authority and lasting peace in North Kivu.
