The Knight family are long-time soldiers in the army of "the most evil one", affectionately known to his subordinates as the Supreme Patriarch. His career was progressing at a record pace until a trip to rural Mississippi.There he met Joanna, a young woman of unshakeable faith; Jeremy, the son of an evangelical mother; and Reverend Daley, the pastor of a small rural church.
