Note on the Historical Results Deducible from Recent Discoveries in Afghanistan

This work by Henry T. Prinsep (1792-1878), published in 1844, draws from the coin collection left to the author when his brother James died. These coins from Afghanistan, inscribed in both Greek and unknown languages, were considered to be an important archaeological discovery.
