Observations on Several Parts of the Counties of Cambridge, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex

Clergyman, schoolmaster and writer on aesthetics, William Gilpin (1724-1804) published a series of works recording his observations on the picturesque across British landscapes. This work of 1809 describes his 1769 travels in East Anglia and his tour of 1773 from Anglesey to Shrewsbury via Snowdon.
