Out of the Woods

Aroma is not your average bear living in the forest. He has the ability to talk! Sadly one day when he tries to help an old lady looking for her dog in the woods and terrifies her instead, Aroma discovers that there are those in the world who will judge him only on his looks, not what is inside his heart. Thankfully, Aroma soon gains a new friend who sticks up for him. As Lola defends him against the bullies who assume that simply because he is a bear that he is mean and rough, she illustrates what happens when we take time to get to know someone for who they truly are, inside and out. In this delightful tale with a special message, a bear is defended from bullies by a new friend who accepts and respects him, no matter their differences.
