It had been a time of great suffering and trial for Dr. Kali Lockwood and her people. The sorcerers and sorceresses with even the slightest touch of pre-cognition had lived in dread, feeling it coming. Though their numbers are tinyand they live peaceful lives, the gifted ones are forced into camps, drugged and have their children taken away while the despicable governments of the world prepare to exterminate them. The leader of the gifteds, Darc Lockwood, offers his life in exchange for an end of the bloodshed, and in the hopes that his beloved wife Kali will go free. Finally, the war that pits the purveyors of magic against the ones that feared magic is over.
