As Casper and Phaeron settle into their new life together, The High Vampiric Council pay them a visit with some news: now that Phaeron is still alive, he must return to the Capital and resume his place on the Scarlett Throne. With humans being banned in the vampire Capital, Phaeron must change the minds of the nobility, and Casper must keep his head above water as he traverses this unknown territory of nobility and aristocracy.
