Recollections of Raven and Richlands

Recollections is pure nostalgia of the 1940's through 1970. It is about what was! It is about what people did. It is about what was, before Television, telephones, computers, shopping malls and Walmarts.
It was a time when Americans pulled together with courage and character. Things were simpler and better understood. The World moved just a little slower and folks were not in such a rush.
Walk with me through this little book and learn about ball point pens, party lines, ancient radios, television and other marvels of the twentieth century. All of this was seen and lived in the south west part of Virginia, namely Richlands and Raven.
