Equine-assisted therapist, Joscelyn Turner, works with at-risk teens. When she refers a psychotic client elsewhere, Joscelyn is set directly in the cross hairs of his rage, and the consequences are deadly. His threats force Joscelyn and her animals to flee Colorado.
Upon her arrival in Flint River, Joscelyn befriends rancher, Trent Stone. Before long, she has a run-in with Trent's brother Cade, a Marine veteran who suffers from PTSD. Using her equine therapy expertise, she works with Cade to battle his demons.
