Sammy the Gnat Gets a New Raincoat

Meet Sammy. Sammy is a teeny, tiny gnat.
In this heartwarming tale about adjusting to new realities, you will meet a young bug who likes sunshine, baseball and loves playing outside with his friends. He spends many happy hours flying in the gnat cloud under the warm summer sun and he has just started going to school full time.
One day, his mother comes home with a large shopping bag but Sammy doesn't pay much attention ¿ until he realizes that mom has brought home a bright yellow coat for Sammy to wear to school! An icky, smelly, hard-to-fly-in, much too bright coat! Sammy does not like the coat.
A few days later, Sammy woke up to a loud crash of thunder! It rained during recess.It rained during lunch.It rained during classes.And the rain showed no signs of stopping. Still, Sammy did not want to wear the icky yellow coat.
Sammy goes through a variety of situations, while resisting to listen to his mother and wearing the coat. Eventually, he learns that all she wants is to keep him warm and dry when it rains so he can enjoy rainy days and sunny days the same.
In fact, when the sunshine returns... he surprises his mother.
