Santa Duty

Do you ever wonder how Christmas ever started? Who is Santa? The magical, jolly, white-bearded man that somehow knows what I want and travels faster than the speed of light, who works so hard in the workshop all year round, and yet has a belly that wobbles like a bowl full of jelly. How in the world does he fit down my chimney? I don't even have a chimney!
So many questions! How does he know what I want? Can he read minds, or is he just some kind of genius? Where does he live? Is it a grotto in the north pole or the house lit up on East Street? Or could it be at Santa's Village at my favourite theme park? SO many possibilities and so few answers. What a mystery this is!
Well, I will now tell you the story of Christmas, the true story of Christmas. So, listen carefully and do not peep about what you are about to discover. Ssshhhhhhh......
