It comes in various colors, shapes, and sizes. Whether it sprouts up from the ground like a cornstalk, swims in the sea as a mighty whale, walk about on four legs as innocent elk, flies about the clouds as a dove, or drops from a man-made conveyor in the form o a coney island hot dog ready for any multitude of condiment, they all have one common denominator. They all have been blessed with a title, some identification, a moniker, that word or combination of words by which a person or thing is regularly known, and that, most assuredly, begins with a letter bestowed by our many alphabets.
Some you know, some you don't. To be sure, by the time you have reached the fourth letter in the Latin alphabet, used in the modern English alphabet, the alphabets of other Western European languages, and others worldwide, your culinary juices will be circumfluent.
