The manuscript is the product of a significant experience carried out at the Gonzalo Suárez Rendón Technical Institute in the city of Tunja in the Department of Boyacá, Colombia, with primary school students. It arises from an activity called "With savings I make my dreams come true" corresponding to the Economic and Financial Education project, its main purpose is to promote the culture of saving as a pedagogical strategy with this group of students, taking into account that the proper use of money is a situation that concerns young and old and the best stage to educate us in this aspect is the latter, the experience has been developed in the Institution since 2017, during the time elapsed has generated high expectations in the educational community and a proactive involvement of each of its members.
