Can a young nurse and a crotchety old lady work together to save the world?
Things are slowly grinding to a halt as people fall into a strange trance.
Lincoln, a nurse in an aged care facility, sees the first people succumb, and half wishes the most exasperating resident, Miss Eleanora Pring, will be next.
But there's more to Miss Pring than her knitting skills; she has the knowledge and ability to pull people from the trance and find the cause.
Lincoln becomes the brawn to Miss Pring's brain as they set out across Adelaide to set the world right again. In the process, Lincoln learns that Miss Pring's past holds more secrets than he could ever imagine.
