Shalara's Secret Quest

Twelve-year old Shalara is blind, but doesn't plan on letting that stop her from pursuing her heart's desire--to join the Sorcerer's Guild. The Guild doesn't want her, and her parents have other plans for her future, but she is determined to follow her own path. With her thirteenth birthday looming on the horizon, and the necessity of preparing to join a Guild by that time, Shalara only has this one summer to make her dreams come true. With the help of her twin sister Talara, Shalara works toward her goal. But Talara has her own goals, and their paths diverge and conflict.
