Island Tarle is sure she is working for the greater good of the Complex, but she is a soldier without a mission and flailing.

She has no idea where Gray is, she can only hope the Rohendra will keep him safe. But they may not be as willing to help as she hopes they are.

Nothing is at it seems, including a missing wife, a long dead soldier and the rebellion brewing amongst the people. Yet no matter what is occurring in the Complex, Isla is sure that if the Hendra has her way, it will mean the end of everything.
