SONORA, Book Two in Boone and PJ's Adventures, approximately 294 pages

A member of the Unit named William LeGarde, who holds a vast amount of information about the Unit's structure and movements, has been taken captive while on an advisory assignment in Mexico. A ransom has been demanded for his release, and the team, including Boone, PJ, Rico, and Sharky, is deployed to track down and rescue their fellow soldier. With their search for a known terrorist from their time in Syria put on hold, Team Crusher redirects their focus to finding LeGarde, who has been put up for sale by a rising drug cartel in northern Mexico. While navigating Mexico, Boone struggles with the dissolution of his marriage, and PJ carries the weight of leadership and family history on his shoulders. Their mission is to save their comrade's life, restore his freedom, and protect the security of their Unit, but time is short, and every day that passes with their friend in captivity brings them one day closer to possible catastrophe for their Unit.
