A strange pharmacist named Betty Birdington has moved to Berry Bay. She wears odd wigs, doesn't like children, and snaps at all the customers. Before long rumors about the new pharmacist are flying all over town.

The new pharmacist definitely makes Stella uneasy too. But when her pet hedgehog gets hurt, she knows there's only one person who can help-Betty Birdington.
