Sunscreens

This book addresses the concept of solar protection of buildings in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. We start from the assertion that high radiation has a significant impact on conductivity through the constructive elements of buildings, determining pronounced thermal gains through opaque and glazed surfaces, the latter being more critical due to their characteristic of thermal impermeability to the return of the heat gained.
