Taariki mein Parinde

Despite having a relatively recent history, the Urdu short story, or afsaana, has grown to become one of the most important literary subgenres in Urdu literature. Selected short stories from contemporary Urdu fiction that appeared in various issues of the magazine "Hayat" are collected in the book "Taariki mein Parinde."
